A note for Thursday:

 Judging is the most critical time for the students and their projects.  This represents the culmination of all of their hard work these past months.  The results of the judging are kept secret until the Awards Ceremony on Thursday evening. 

 Parents and Sponsors, without prior permission from Fair Officials, will not be allowed within the roped-off area in the University Fitness Center lobby nor on the second floor during the judging.  If any parents or sponsors are found in the UFC during this time, the entire school represented by these people will be disqualified from competing in the North Alabama Regional Science and Engineering Fairs.

Thursday,
March 5

8:30 – 8:50 am

Final preparation for grades 5-8: return laptops, turn on equipment. No check-in and no project set-up.

9:00 – 10:00 am

Judges briefing, judging begins in the University Fitness Center. 
Judges and Science Fair Committee Only in Briefing Room.

10:00 - 11:30 am

Students in Grades 5 through 8 stand with their Projects.

12:00 – 12:20 pm

Final preparation for grades 9-12: return laptops, turn on equipment. No check-in and no project set-up.

11:30 – 12:30 pm

Lunch Break

12:30 – 2:30 pm

Students in Grades 9 through 12 stand with Projects.

2:30 – 6:00 pm
